How to shop

We understand that international purchase of important pieces can be stressful and complicated. That's why we've put in place a simple and safe buying process that have proven to be reliable and efficient for both parties.

Buying Process

Once you've decided on the item(s) you'd like to purchase, press the "Place Order & Get Shipping Quote" button. 

You won't have to provide any form of payment at this point as we still need to figure out the crating and shipping costs to get the item(s) to you. 

Once you submit your order, your purchase is therefore not confirmed yet. The items will be placed on hold and we will send you a quote for the shipping & crating costs within 24-48 hours.

- If you accept the quote, your order will be confirmed and an invoice will automatically be sent to you. You can then proceed to the secured payment of your choice by following the instructions on screen and the items will be sent to you.


​- If you decide to reject the quote or do not accept it before due date, your order will be canceled and the items put back for sale.

Packig & Crating

Packing & Crating

International deliveries and the delicacy of antique items require the upmost care during shipment. This is why all items are carefully packed, crated and palletized with fumigated wood to ensure their protection. 

Shipping Policy


Items are shipped from our warehouse in Taiwan. Front Door Freight is utilized for international shipments with either FedEx or DHL and all goods are fully insured. You will be provided the direct quote from the forwarder, IWADAOBAO do no mark up on these costs.
