Purchase Policy

The following Terms are a binding contract between you and IWADAOBAO. Any purchase made online means that you agree to all of these Terms, please read carefully.


Once you've decided on the item(s) you'd like to purchase, press the "Place Order & Get Shipping Quote" button. 

You won't have to provide any form of payment at this point as we still need to figure out the crating and shipping costs to get the item(s) to you. 

Once you submit your order, your purchase is therefore not confirmed yet. The items will be placed on hold and we will send you a quote for the shipping & crating costs within 24-48 hours.

  • If you accept the quote, your order will be confirmed and an invoice will automatically be sent to you. You can then proceed to the secured payment of your choice by following the instructions on screen and the items will be sent to you.

  • If you decide to reject the quote or do not accept it before due date, your order will be canceled and the items put back for sale.


For online and in store purchases, we accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express via Paypal. We also accept payments made by Bank wire transfer. A 3.5% service fee will be added to all credit card payments.


For purchases through our website, the buyer has 3 days after receiving the piece to notify us if they wish to return it. After we have been notified, the client has 7 business days to initiate for the piece to be shipped back. The piece must be returned insured and arrive in the same condition as received and in the same manner of packaging as it was originally sent. Altered or modified pieces do not qualify for a return.

Please note:

  • A restocking fee of 20% of the item price applies.

  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges (including insurance)

  • Buyer will not be reimbursed for the original shipping & crating costs.


Once the piece is returned to our warehouse, we will refund the purchase price minus the 20% restocking fee within 3 to 5 business days.


Shipping and handling costs are at the buyers expense. Items are shipped from our warehouse in Taiwan. Front Door Freight is utilized for international shipments with either FedEx or DHL and all goods are fully insured. You will be provided the direct quote from the forwarder, we do no mark up on these costs. Processing and handling takes 3 to 5 days. We can also arrange for rush delivery when needed.


Packing & crating costs are at the buyers expense. International deliveries and the delicacy of antique items require the upmost care during shipment. This is why all items are carefully packed, crated and palletized with fumigated wood to ensure their protection. 


At iwadaobao, we guarantee that all descriptions given to each inventory item is true and accurate to the best of our knowledge. The information given on the website or on the invoice at time of sale can serve as a certificate of authenticity and for insurance purposes.
